racing car grand prix monaco 1934 geo ham

The story

With the Nazi regime now in full sway in Germany, the Mercedes-bez team arrived with the most powerful cars yet used in the Grand Prix, and earned first prize easily. With Italian driver Luigi Fazioli at the wheel, the 3.99 liter Mercedes W25 model led from start to finish, never seriously challenged by the three Alfa Romeos and the Maserati that took the next four spots. On the poster Ham puts us right in the action, against the glittering background of sun-drenched Monte Carlo.
